WHAT DO YOU GET TO KNOW BY READING THE BOOK?

    • We are creatures of the Ice Age. Fat means “survival” to our physiological function.
    • Diet low in fat cause the body to more easily synthetise fat from other sources – carbohydrates.
    • Saturated fats and cholesterol are not culprits in heart disease!
    • Omega-3 fish oil or Antarctic krill oil calm and eliminate carbs cravings and can greatl enhance insulin sensitivity.
    • Excess carbs intake are readily converted to triacylglycerides.
    • If you take large amount of vitamin D without vitamin A, you are potentially more likely to develop symptoms of vitamin A deficiency and immuno suppressive effect.
    • High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) metabolized into fat faster than almost any other sugar.
    • Beta-carotene is no equivalent of vitamin A. It is inefectivelly converted.
    • The key is quality of exercise, not a great quantity… Spend hours in the gym? Our ancestors would never have bothered with such wasteful and wearing expenditures of energy. 
    • Walking, brief bouts of running served to expand heart and lung capacity and rapidly use blow glucose.
