Vegetable salad should accompany every dish or be eaten as a second dinner or small snack. However, only vegetable is not enough. To make the well-balanced salad, you should enrich it with all the macronutrients, such as protein, carbohydrates and fats. You can also add a little fruit to the salad.
Be careful, if you add mayonnaise dressing, large amount of cream, or if you grill or fry vegetables in oil, the energy value of vegetable salad will increase.
