I am a dietitian with specialization for child and adult nutrition, a graduate of the master’s program Dietitian with specialization, and and bachelor’s program Dietitian at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University (LF MU) in Brno. I am currently a Ph.D. student of Hygiene, preventive medicine and epidemiology (again at LF MU). As part of my postgraduate studies I teach nutrition at LF MU and I do research on nutritional toxicology in alternative ways of eating.
I work in two nutrition offices in Brno, at the Institute of Lifelong Education of Mendel University and at AFIT fitness center.
I specialize in preventive nutrition, obesity and eating disorders. I have experience with nutritional counseling not only in these areas, but also in others such as sports nutrition for maximalization of performance.
My knowledge is complemented by active self-study, reading books and scientific articles, and participation in conferences and seminars.
Last but not least, I am an instructor of indoor-cycling and pilates and also active sportswoman – runner and cyclist.
